Traffic problems
Transport system is very important in modern world. If there were no means of transport, people wouldn't be able to communicate properly and it would take them a lot of time to get to the necessary place.
It is a pity, but there are a lot of traffic problems nowadays.
First and maybe the most terrible is the problem of traffic jams as in big cities as in suburbs. The problem is that there are so many cars and buses in streets that that they don't let to pass each other. If there is an accident on one of the main roads it will probably make a huge traffic jam.
Millions of drivers of cars suffer from it spending most of their time in cars waiting until he/she will have the way to ride. But on the other hand, people receive an hour of rest when they don't have to do anything. If a family goes to the city, its members have the possibility to talk to each other or to make a phone call to a friend.
The problem is that the modern world is the world of hurry. People always feel the lack of time and most of them want to have 28 hours a day. And traffic jams don't allow them to get to their works, homes, friend's houses, restaurants, etc. People miss important meetings, conferences, are late for work, plane, train. And this provokes irritation and indignation.
Some people leave their cars just in the middle of the road, and walk to their works. Some people take underground as it is the only way to get to the work in time.
Being in a traffic jam people also breathe harmful gases produced by cars, which harms their health provoking diseases such as Cancer.
New roads were created to solve this problem. Local administration tries to create a system of detour roads. But still this doesn't happen as people still suffer from traffic jams.
The lack of parking is another problem people face when they want to leave their car while going shopping or visiting friends, going to work, etc. All possible parking places are always occupied because the number of parking places in the city doesn't correspond to the number of cars.
This problem was solved creating underground parking. And almost every building has special parking for people who live there or who work there.
There are also a lot of other problems such as money spent on fixing cars and fuel, air, water pollution, spending time learning to drive a car, etc.
