Means of transport
It is hard to imagine streets of megapolis without any traffic. Millions of cars, ships, planes, helicopters, trains, and buses make the life of big cities even more bustling.
Every day people invent something new and develop means of transport updating them and making them more comfortable and faster. There are a lot of means of transport that allow getting to the necessary place as fast as possible. Every person may choose the means of transport that will correspond to his/her demands.
People don't even notice how transport is important. It helps people to get to the necessary destination in a few minutes, to save efforts and time, to see far-away lands and countries. Thanks to transport people have the possibility to look at the earth from the cruising altitude and standing in the middle of the ocean.
Planes will take you to destination in a few hours with a marvellous view from the plane's bull's-eye; trains will offer you beautiful landscapes during your travel to your destination-station. Cars are very comfortable and may take you to any place you like without stopping if you don't want to. It is possible to meet very interesting and intelligent people in the bus.
But with the appearance of transport, new problems appeared. The lack of space makes worse the movement not only of cars but also of people because of a great number of cars and buses in street. Traffic jams are so frequent that people just can't wait and leave their cars in the streets going on foot. And this causes new traffic jams.
If you want to leave your car somewhere, you'll also face a problem, because the lack of parking is one of the greatest problems nowadays. It is impossible to leave a car near the building you were trying to get to. One has to leave his/her car far away from it.
Another problem is air and water pollution. All means of transport release a great number of harmful substances in the air. Fruits and vegetables cultivated near roads are harmful and are not recommended to eat.
Long tunnels may be the reason for a great catastrophe that may happen inside it. If drivers don't follow safety measures in tunnels, people may die. By the way, accidents are of great importance nowadays as this is the main reason of deaths of the majority of people nowadays. Driving being in alcoholic inebriation and driving at high speed may kill pedestrians, drivers and passengers.
We hear a lot of news about catastrophes that took place in highways, in the sea, and in the air. Planes crash, cars collide with each others, trains run off the rails, ships sink, etc. That is why people have phobias connected with the fear to travel in a certain means of transport.
But travelling always offers you a great number of thrilling adventures full of meeting people, pleasure and entertainment. And transport gives so many impressions and emotions.
People have the possibility to change the usual atmosphere thanks to travelling.
